About Me

My full name is Eric Benjamin Randall. I hail from a town outside of Charlotte, NC called Mint Hill. I attended Butler High School in Matthews, North Carolina, during which I may or may not have attended nerd camp (I did and it’s called Summer Ventures in Science and Mathematics).

I received a Bachelor’s of Science in Chemistry — Biochemistry Track from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2011 with a triple minor in Biology, Linguistics, and Hispanic Studies. After striving to succeed in a less than favorable economy, I decided to return to school to finish my second Bachelor’s of Science in Mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. As of December 2016, I have completed my Master’s of Science in Applied Mathematics from North Carolina State University. Currently, I am progressing towards attaining my Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics with a Concentration in Physiology here at NCSU.

When I’m not spending glorious hours doing math, you’ll probably find me reading for pleasure (one day I’ll publish a fiction novel), playing most kinds of trivia (except the sports category), pouring over pop culture, or trying my best to keep up those New Years Resolutions.

I currently live in Raleigh, NC with my brother and my rescue babies, Nyx and Lincoln. Nyx is a tri-colored Australian shepherd/border collie mix and Lincoln is a black chow chow mix. Please adopt rescue dogs! Every dog needs a loving home.
